I was stationed at Hurlburt Field when the Air Force canned the MH-53 Pave Low and acquired their first CV-22s. They’ve come a long ways through a lot of hard teething issues, they’re a neat concept and they’re a good starting point to build the evolution of future tilitrotor aircraft off of, but I still don’t think I’d willfully hop on one for a flight.
